Thursday, March 11, at the premises of the Primary School Via GB Pirelli Godfrey From Busselton, representatives of the Committees and Associations of Parents of interested schools - about 30 parents - have created a coordination referred to as "Unacrepaincomune.
Coordination aims to promotion of any useful initiative to stop the inaction of the Municipal Administration in dealing with the work of maintenance and safety measures necessary for the six school buildings.
As a first step, the coordinator decided to support the request made by the Board of Housing ( read the motion approved by CdZ9 ), a collection of signatures to be initiated immediately. Ask your local authorities for the opening of a work table before April 30, 2010.

Tuesday, March 2 during a press conference at Palazzo Marino was illustrated the situation of some school buildings in Zone 9, which for years has strongly critical to the structural deterioration and poor maintenance.
The press conference was attended by the Chairman of the Zone 9, Beatrice Uguccioni, the President of the School Zone 9, Giovanna Mizzau, the executives of four educational institutions, representatives of parents of affected schools, local councilors and Patricia District and Marco Cormio (remember that for being Star of the seminar organizers well in school: CLICK HERE ). Among the many buildings in Zone 9 that require help, you in particular, belonging to four comprehensive schools, require urgent and pressing:

The situation of these schools is recognized condition so much so that by the Town Council's actions are included in the plan for three years of municipal public works for several years.

the local council, collecting instances of executives and several concerned parents who in recent years have not resigned and made themselves heard, has developed a proposal to be submitted to the municipal administration.
Following a letter signed by the following January 29, 2010 School Administrator:
Emilia Brambilla, Don Orione IC Dominuco Joseph, IC T. Mann Emilia Jones, IC V. Locchi Velia Maria Smith, IC A. Locatelli School Zone 9, the Commission has prepared a motion (CLICK HERE ) Section 9 of the Council voted to approve at its meeting on February 18, 2010 (No. 47/10).
Here's an excerpt from the letter written by the School Administrator:
"A society that has to deal with the welfare of their children so that tomorrow's society is made up of balanced and responsible people can not afford the "luxury" of neglecting the educational facilities that are places for education, training and education. We know that the civilization of a people is estimated also and above all the importance that is given to the school administration and all who care about the welfare of its citizens must work to ensure safety and health for children in places where they spend much hours of their day. "

The resolution of the Board of Housing does not ask for anything more than what The administration has pointed out: just to start the work, quickly, without any further extensions or sliding.
How? Request the opening of a working group which involved:

The work table should define the actions to be carried out in 2010 and establish an intervention program to see the realization of the provisions of the three-year program 2010-2012.

Meanwhile, as the resolution is doing its institutional process, the parents of the schools involved should, in our opinion, remain vigilant, maintaining a high level of attention and information.
